Hi there! I am Alys, and I am thrilled to share my passion for board games with you! My journey into the world of tabletop gaming began when my husband and I were searching for a hobby we could enjoy together, free from the glow of screens. Little did we know that this quest would lead us to a lifelong love affair with board games.

As someone who has worked with children in the public school system, I have always been drawn to activities that foster connection, creativity, and fun. Teaching board games has become a natural extension of this passion and my hobby. I have over a decade of experience teaching board games, both personally with my friends and professionally at Unplugged Board Games Café and after school board games clubs. I love watching people discover new games, witnessing the joy they bring to families and friends, and facilitating a new passion.

My own board game collection has grown significantly over the years, reflecting my enthusiasm for exploring different genres and styles. From classics to modern masterpieces, I am always eager to dive into new adventures and share them with others.
